Veyrin is a hamlet of Saint Bois, near Belley, in the foothills of the Lower Jura
Veyrin is a friendly hamlet of 40 inhabitants. It is located in Saint Bois, close to Belley which is the capital of Bugey, near Savoie and Isere in south eastern France.
You will be able to discover in Saint Bois:
• The three hamlets Veyrin, Crozet, the Village with their typical architecture of the Gland valley, its stone houses, its roofs with gables covered with stones arranged in stairs.
• The Sauget bridge over the Gland
• The communal ovens in the three hamlets.
• The ancient communal laundry.
• The cross of Bécu overlooking the village of Saint Bois.
• The viewpoint of Graye. View over the Alps.
• Many footpaths e.g. GR 59 passes in front of the gîte.
• Mountain bike circuits. The circuit 6 passes in front of the gîte and through the forest.
• The Gland, river along the village.
